2022 Heal Creek Sled Dog Race

Race #4 of the Trailblazer's Triple Crown!

Feb 26 & 27, 2022 (SAT & SUN)

Location:  Rhinelander, WI

RACE PURSE: $5,000 (minimum)

            Class A 10-dog & Class A 6-dog payout to five places

            Class A 4-dog payout to four places

            Pro skijor payout to three places

            Registered Breed payout to three places -- Total $1,000 to the RB Classes

++ All Classes ISDRA Sanctioned (except Sport Skijor & 2-dog Sled)

++ All classes run under ISDRA rules

Mandatory Drivers Meeting:  Saturday 9 am

Races Start: 10 am on BOTH Saturday & Sunday

Offering:  10-Dog/8-Dog, 6-Dog, 4-Dog, 2-Dog Adult, 2 & 3-Dog Juniors, 1 & 2-Dog Skijor

* Pro Class, Northern Registered Breed, Sportsman / Novice Groupings available in most classes *

Heal Creek Dog Dash offers 3 loops: 6.3,  4, & 2.2 mile.

• 6-dog sled, 8-dog sled, and pro skijor will run the 6.3 mile loop.
• 4-dog sled will run the 4 mile loop.
• 2 & 3-dog sled junior, adult 2-dog sled, and sportsman’s skijor will run the 2.2 mile loop.

WI Trailblazer (WTB) Membership REQUIRED to Participate 

*EXEMPT:  Jr Class participants / Unless Competing for WTB's Club Champsionship Award

ISDRA Sanctioned Event

Not an International Sled Dog Racing Assoc. Member?  An addtional $6 per class fee applies*. 

ISDRA Membership Form available at www.ISDRA.org.

*NOTE:  Jr Class partiicpants need not be ISDRA members unless racing for ISDRA points

*2-Dog Adult & Sport Skijor are not ISDRA Sanctioned Classes - EXEMPT from ISDRA fee

Registered Breed Teams must be prepared to present registration papers for particpating dogs to race officials.

Snubline Starts:  10, 8, 6, 4, 3-dog Jr. 

* RABIES CERTIFICATES may be requested *.

Explanation of Race Entry Fees:  Race fee includes a $5 timing fee, $4 ISDRA "User Fee" paid to ISDRA, $1 Donation to the race site's local Animal Shelter / Humane Society, & a $5 Refundable Bib Fee (Jrs are exempt from paying the User Fee).

Bib / ISDRA Form Refund:  On Sunday, bibs & completed ISDRA Report Forms must be turned in after racing; $5 Bib Fee will be refunded to each racer.
