  • Drivers Meeting be a video. It will be emailed to all entrants the week of the race. For that and any other crucial updates, entrants are responsible for checking their emails!

As always, despite anything posted/advertised beforehand, RACE MARSHAL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE ATLERATIONS ON SITE BASED ON WEATHER, TRAIL CONDITIONS, ETC.

  • Michigan State Park Passport required for park access whether or not you are camping.
  • Overnight parking/camping = camping RESERVATION required (in addition to the Michigan Recreation Passport mentioned above). A special code is required to reserve a site for the race. 
  • A special code is required to reserve a site for the race. First, create or log-in to your account on https://midnrreservations.com/. Once you are logged in, look under "My Account" for the Group Holds section. Select "Reserve Group Hold" and indicate Fort Custer. From there, plug in the code FALLMUSH2022, which will allow you to add a site to your cart and check out. Choose a site between numbers 111-218 (East Loop). Site numbers lower than 111 are NOT in the race area. You can also call the park and provide the code over the phone to resreve if you prefer.
  • If you are not camping and will only be there for a few hours during the race day, please note: All vehicles must be in a designated parking area or must park within a campsite. There will be no parking along the roads in unmarked spots.
  • Due to park layout, there are no guarantees you will be able to park within sight of the start chute. Please review park map so you know what to expect.

This race is beginner friendly! Minimal prior experience required, but your dogs must have manners while passing or being passed please. This is a learning event, great for beginners. Cooperation from all drivers is an absolute must. Please supply your own equipment. If you need equipment, ask us who we recommend, and we’d be happy to help.
• Class order and start times will be announced the week of the race, apprixmately one day after entries close.

Required Equipment Basics:

  1. Each dog must have collar and appropriate harness.

  2. Necklines required on all but single leaders.

  3. No pinch/choke collars or muzzles. No e-collars.

  4. Bungee line required in bike, scooter, and canicross.

  5. Helmets required in wheeled classes.

  6. Belt required for canix.

  7. All bikes, scooters, rigs must have adequate brakes. Bike brakes must be independent of chain.

  8. Snub line required on the trail for rig teams.

Men's Canicross Run. 1 dog

1-dog bike (1 mile)

Fun Walk/Run - canicross (1 mile) all entries run together. Adults may take 2 dogs in this class. This is a canicross class, no wheels.

Junior wheeled class (1-2 dogs, 1 mile)

ENTRIES OPEN: Saturday, October 1, 2022.

ENTRY DEADLNE: Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 6 p.m. Eastern. No entries will be accepted at the race.
