This is a 2-day race. All classes run two days unless otherwsie noted.
Beginners welcome! ***MUSH membership respectfully required.***
Required Equipment Basics, per MUSH rules:
1. Each dog must have appropriate "Y" harness that does not restrict movement.
2. Necklines required on all but single leaders.
3. No pinch/choke collars or muzzles.
4. Bungee line required in bike, scooter, and canicross.
5. Helmets required in wheeled classes.
6. Belt required for canix.
7. All bikes, scooters, rigs must have adequate brakes. Bike brakes must be independent of chain. (Bikes that back-pedal to stop are prohibited.)
8. Safety snubline required on the trail for rig teams. Snubline start for rigs (separate snubline).
9. Lines must connect from front stem of bike/scooter. (No side attachments or driver restraint methods.)
10. Scooters must be appropriate dog scooters built for rugged terrain (rigs also allowed as substitute).
Race updates and all necessary info will be shared to the official Fort Custer Dryland Facebook page. You are responsible for keeping yourself in the loop!

NEW! Senior Dog Dash - Aimed at dogs 9yrs+: wheels, walk, or run – Saturday only, structured start (you will be told when to leave the chute) but not timed, 1-3 dogs, 1 mile. $5
Cani-Fun Walk/Run - Great for newcomers! This is a beginner canicross class for new members. Experienced MUSH members invited as well. Puppies and old dogs welcome. Saturday only, structured start (you will be told when to leave the chute) but not timed, 1-2 dogs, 1 mile. $5

Michigan State Park Recreation Passport REQUIRED to have a vehicle on park property (even spectators).
A reminder related to #3: musher parking etiquette requires you to park in the same spot both days. Do not steal your neighbor's spot on Sunday just because you beat them to the race site. Thank you.
