11TH ANNUAL IRON FISH DISTILLERY FAT CHANCE FAT TIRE BIKE RACE
SATURDAY, JANUARY 27, 2024

Fat Chance is the staple of fat biking in Northern Michigan, and is back again for another legendary race at Crystal Mountain with new and familiar faces.

The race will be held on our new Multi-User Bike Loop. This course will have plenty of variety with berms, rollers, twisty single tracks and wide open areas with opportunities for passing and making big moves! This course will be a 1-mile loop. Helmets are required for rider safety.

This race is happening rain or shine, snow or dirt! 

UPDATE: Both the 90 minute & 45 minute race will start at 9am

REGISTRATION
All registration includes chip timing, race bib, and a coupon for a post-ride beverage and chili or soup.

Early Bird Registration (November 12 - 26, 2023): $40 per rider.
Cost goes up to $50 beginning November 27, 2023. Day-of registration is not available.

Online registration will close at Noon on Friday, January 26, 2024.

REGISTRATION OPENS NOVEMBER 12 

Packet pick-up will be held beginning at 3pm at the Park at Water's Edge on Friday, January 26, 2024.  

CASH PRIZES, MEDALS & AWARDS
A cash prize and medal will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each 90-minute category. Plus there will be plenty of swag from Crystal Mountain, Iron Fish , and Kona Bikes . Awards, medals and swag can be picked up at the Park at Water's Edge on the day-of the race or will be mailed to racers.
