Volunteer Paddlers for Swim for GT Bay

7:00 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017 - Traverse City, Michigan

We seeking experienced open water paddlers (kayaks, SUP's, canoes, surf skis welcome!) to be part of our Safety Squad to assist on the day of the Swim. Safety Squad paddlers may help monitor the field of swimmers and individual support kayakers, assist with swimmer counts along the course, be stationed at buoys along the course, and in general, create additional visibility along the course.

ALL VOLUNTEER PADDLERS MUST REGISTER so we have an accurate participant count and your emergency contact information.

Volunteers are invited to enjoy the pancake breakfast immediately following the Swim at Volleyball Beach.

There is a mandatory safety meeting on the beach at 7 a.m. so that paddlers can be on the course and ready when the swim begins.
