Location of Event: Lake Elmo, Minnesota

Twin Cities Dog Powered Sports is excited to announce our second annual MN Dryland Race for carts, bikes, scooters and canicross!

MISSION: Dedicated to making dog-powered sports safe and accessible to the recreational pet home.

LOCATION: Lake Elmo Park Reserve: 1515 Keats Ave N, Lake Elmo, MN 55042

Entry fee: $28.00 USD. (This includes your $7.00 parking permit)

OFFERING:

• 2.3 Mile Loop: 5-6 Dog Cart, 3-4 Dog Cart, 2-Dog Bikejor, 2-Dog Scooter 
• 1.3 Mile Loop: 1 Dog Bikejor, 1 Dog Scooter, 1- Dog Canicross

There will be three classes:

• Professional/All Breed 
• Novice
• Registered Breed 

Note: [per ISDRA guidlelines "AKC/CKC/UKC (or the National Registry from the country of origin) registered Siberian Huskies or Alaskan Malamutes or Samoyeds."] Please reference ISDRA website for further rules and conditions.

Required Equipment for Mushers:

1. Each dog must have a collar and appropriate fitting harness

2. Necklines required on all but single leaders

3. Helmets required in wheeled classes

4. Belt required for canix

5. All bikes, scooters, rigs must have adequate working brakes and bike brakes must be independent of chain

6. Snub line required on the trail for rig teams

Mushers Meeting: 8:00 A.M

PRE-ENTRIES OPEN: August 1, 2022 $28.00 USD. (This includes your $7.00 parking permit)

Please note registration entry fee will increase by $2.00 after October 1, 2022. Refunds will be made up to October 1st, 2022, except for a $3.00 processing fee ($25.00 refund amount). After such date, no refunds will be issued.

ENTRY DEADLNE: Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 6 p.m.  No entries will be accepted at the race.
