2018 Record-Eagle Running Series- CLOSED

With three beautiful events in the Grand Traverse Bay region, we thought we would take your local running experience to a new level with the Record-Eagle Running Series!

Registration for the 2018 Record-Eagle Running Series has been extended until 8:00am on Wednesday, June 20th 2018. Participation in the series is free. However, participants must register for each race and pay the according race fees on their event websites. Please click on the names listed here to be taken to their registration page and/or to learn more about the events: Charlevoix Marathon, Meijer Cherry Festival of Races and Vineyard to Bay Races. 

Runners must participate in an event at the Charlevoix Marathon, Cherry Festival of Races and Vineyard to Bay Races.

We will combine the times from all 3 events and have our Record-Eagle 2 Mile Championships in September with an Awards Ceremony after to celebrate. Overall, Masters and Grand Masters Male and Female runners in each speed division will receive trophies and $100 cash. Our top male and female runners in each age category will receive medals.

Record-Eagle 2 Mile Championships

Participate in a beautiful fall evening 2 mile run along the Boardman Lake!  

The 2 mile race will take place on September 20th with a race start time of 6:30pm. Runners will come to Medalie Park, where we will also have sponsor tables, water and fruit. A portion of these proceeds will be donated to TART Trails, a local non-profit organization.

Participants can come pick up pre-registration packets during our registration check-in time, beginning at 5pm. We will start the race promptly at 6:30pm. We will hold an awards ceremony at 7:10pm with trophies and medals for the Record-Eagle 2 Mile Championships Overall/Master Male & Females, as well as the top 3 males and females in each age category. Immediately following we will hold the Record-Eagle 2 Mile Running Series Awards Ceremony. 

The cost to participate is only $25 if pre-registered by 12AM on September 16th, 2018. Day of registration will be $30. This cost includes a t-shirt, bib, race entry, and partial donation to TART Trails.
