The Tri Up North Triathlons are bike, paddle, run triathlons in Frankfort, Michigan. Located on Betsie Bay and the Western shore of Lake Michigan, Frankfort is the perfect location for a triathlon. 2015 was the inaugural year for the 10 mile Classic event which is specifically geared toward beginners and those looking for a little motivation to become more active. In 2016 we introduced the 22 mile Challenger which is a competitive course for experienced athletes and relay teams. Our goal is to engage young people, families and individuals to make healthy choices and live an active lifestyle so everyone can enjoy all that Northern Michigan has to offer.

The 2017 registration includes a one-day USAT membership for all racers in all race categories.  Current annual USAT members can receive a $15 discount by entering the discount code "USAT" and providing their membership number at checkout.  An annual membership card must be presented at packet pickup to retain this discount, failure to do so will require purchase of a one day membership prior to race participation.

Register early and SAVE, prices increase on 9/15/17. Online registration will be closing at 10:00pm on Thursday, October 12, 2017. Registration can be completed in person on Saturday from 5-7pm or on Sunday from 7:30-8:30am in Mineral Springs Park, Frankfort.
